AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

AWS has created a central sales function to drive growth across a set of existing AWS’ mid-market Enterprise customers. You will be aligned to a territory of customers to create, progress and close net new opportunities and so help customers get to the cloud quickly.

As a Central Sales Rep (CSR) at AWS, you are responsible for exercising account management/acquisition skills in a remote sales motion, helping to grow consumption of current and new AWS services across priority prospects/customers in the Enterprise segment. This is a quota carrying role responsible for the full sales cycle. You will utilise your sales and technical experience to proactively engage with our customers and help them meet their business objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies

  • Experience in technical sales for B2B or in solution-sales / technology-related environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
