The Curriculum team plans, builds and maintains industry-leading programmes. We build training content that changes lives. The content we build is engaging, interactive, and cutting-edge, using modern training tools and creative approaches to content development. The content we build supports Operations, Marketing, Sales and Compliance and is fundamental to the success of the business as a whole.

The role:

Corndel is seeking an energetic and forward-thinking individual, for the role of Digital Learning Content Developer to produce Corndel’s digital learning content.  Your primary role will be to manage and deliver the production of all SCORM, text, audio and video content created for our learners and advising on the use of appropriate technologies, platforms, and current trends.

You will play an important role in expanding the educational digital content which underpins the learning experience and is key to the development of further commercial opportunities and will lead/support on building engaging content, utilising the latest technology to delight our learners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working to briefs from the Directors of Curriculum, who write the programme content.

  • Working with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met.

  • Interpreting briefs to create engaging, educational digital content to support our programme delivery and improve the learning experience. 

  • Contributing to content design and advising on the use of appropriate technologies, platforms, and current trends.

  • Creating, reviewing, and editing SCORM, text, audio and video content to a brilliant standard.

  • Giving, receiving, and acting upon stakeholder feedback in a timely manner.

  • Managing multiple projects and workload of contracted/employed Digital Developers simultaneously and ensuring high standards are maintained.

  • Responding reliably to urgent enquiries for content whilst maintaining deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Training and supporting Directors of Curriculum and Learning Content Support in the use of Articulate to create innovative, engaging learning content.

    Experience and Skills:

    Essential:

  • Advanced skills in a range of software used to create and edit SCORM, text, audio and video content.

  • Highly skilled at merging audio with video to produce high quality, easy to follow, educational videos.

  • Highly organised, able to prioritise well and work at speed and under pressure.

  • A good communicator who listens well, can explain things clearly and presents information in a simple and coherent way.

  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and organisational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with a “get things right first” approach.

  • A natural completer finisher, with thoroughness and accuracy.

  • Proven ability to set and meet deadlines in a calm and efficient way.

    Desirable:

  • Experience using document and image editing software, such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. 

  • Experience creating animated video content and/or eLearning content.

  • Experience using generative AI tools such as TTS.
