Your New Role

The role of the Data & Insights team is to convert analytics data, consumer research and market intelligence into concise insights, strategic recommendations & forecasts that provide Warner Bros Discovery with competitive advantage in the UK & Ireland markets. Supporting across the entire UK & Ireland business we ensure data & insight is at the heart of decision-making. This role will be part of a team that focus on films/theatrical, games and home entertainment.

Your Role Accountabilities…

· Help the department communicate KPIs, data & insight to the wider organisation through data visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).

· Maintain and improve existing reports and create new reports across the WBD UK and Ireland business.

· Routinely perform audits of existing reporting processes and proactively seek out opportunities to enhance efficiency.

· Integrate data from other systems into Data visualisation tools to improve consolidation of data.

· Find or create new data sources to allow development of new reports.

· Educate department on dashboard functionality to help understand what can be achieved in Data visualisation tools.

· Work with managers in the team to respond to ad-hoc insight requests with customized deliverables, insight & recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

· Proven experience using data visualisation tools. .

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation.

· Expert knowledge/user of Tableau (or similar BI tool) with proven experience.

· Experience using SQL and Python/R or other statistical programming language would be advantageous.

· Experience with data management to optimise reporting.

· Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).

· Good knowledge of Microsoft (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Google (e.g. Sheets, Slides) software packages.

· A lateral thinker who can identify opportunities, understand consumer motivations and challenge the status quo.

Ability to plan, prioritise and complete work accurately within tight deadlines.

Experience working within the entertainment/media industry (either within a broadcaster, film studio or a company with a strong D2C presence) preferred

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
