The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking ambitious graduates to join our Construction Advisory team working in Quantum, Delay and Forensic analysis. As part of joining the team you will have the opportunity to work within multiple teams and develop your career in a dynamic environment. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Advisory team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Claims and Delays Consultants. The ideal person for this role will need to be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Responsibilities

The Candidate will primarily be involved in construction dispute resolution, claims assessment, delay/ disruption analysis and providing advisory support on live projects.

An individual is required who can show initiative, perform advanced data research, manage client relations and deliver to tight deadlines. This role will involve frequent client interaction and will require the successful candidate to prepare and make presentations to communicate results. The international nature of our work means that the successful candidate should be prepared to travel regionally throughout Europe and the MENA regions, sometimes at short notice. The candidate will be regularly supporting lead experts in formal dispute processes. They should be able to demonstrate competence in formal writing and data analysis.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will have a good academic record and be able to demonstrate how they have distinguished themselves within their chosen field. They will be expected to work collaboratively with the team and deliver commissions under high pressure and to the client’s satisfaction. We expect the individual will be able to contribute to business development through networking and marketing activities.

Required Qualifications

  • A recognized undergraduate degree from a leading university, in a subject that includes data analysis, critical thinking and essay writing;

  • Excellent oral and verbal communications skills;

  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;

  • Professionalism and client-facing ability, able to build trust;

  • Relationship building and strong interpersonal skills;

  • Proficient in IT skills;

  • A Flexible approach to their work;

  • A sense of personal responsibility for the quality of their work;

    Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
