Associate UX Researcher

The User Experience (UX) team at Bentley Systems is looking for a UX Researcher, located in London, United Kingdom.

At Bentley Systems, we deliver solutions for complex engineering projects. Our users are the ones designing, building, and operating the world’s infrastructure. It requires us to know their needs very well, and this is where UX Research plays its critical role.

As a member of the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud UX team, you will dive deep into how cities, water, mobility, or energy industries operate and maintain their infrastructure. You will learn who is behind the city planning, who is doing bridge inspections or who creates concepts for deep-water oil and gas floating platforms. You will learn about their current pain points and struggles and will use all this knowledge to design tools that will help them to be more efficient and successful at what they are doing each day.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Help organizing basic qualitative and quantitative research activities

• Learn a lot about infrastructure software while observing research activities carried out by other team members

• Translate user research findings into insights and design improvements

• Learn about the specifics of application through observing UX research activities carried out by other team members

What You Bring to The Team:

• A passion for User Experience craft, specifically user research

• Basic familiarity with user research methods and tools

• An eye for detail

• Fluency in both written and spoken English

What would make you stand out:

• Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related field

• Familiarity with infrastructure field
