£29,000 - £31,000 + benefits (depending on location)

What is the opportunity?

The 24 month programme is for graduates wanting to specialise as Project Managers. We will support you in gaining the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) via the Project Management pathway through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

You'll work within our Project & Cost Management department and have opportunities to undertake three 8 month rotations across our Occupier, Investor & Developer and Industrial & Logistics project management teams to gain a variety of experience across different projects and varying sectors.

Birmingham – This location will lead you to be become a fully qualified Project Manager (member of RICS).

Leeds - This location will lead you to be become a fully qualified Project Manager (member of RICS).

Liverpool - This location will lead you to be become a fully qualified Project Manager (member of RICS).

Manchester - This location will lead you to be become a fully qualified Project Manager (member of RICS).

What will you be doing?

· Planning and scheduling projects.

· Managing project budgets and expenses.

· Procuring and managing project materials.

· Negotiating and managing contracts.

· Coordinating and communicating with project team members.

· Identifying and mitigating project risks.

· Ensuring adherence to quality standards.

· Documenting project progress and changes.

· Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

· Ensuring health and safety compliance.

What you will need to succeed

• Cognate students will need a RICS accredited degree or a RICS accredited masters conversion course (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum) preferably in Building Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management

• Non-Cognate students from any degree discipline are welcome to apply (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum)

• A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for real estate & the built-environment

• Self-motivated with a talent for verbal and written communication

• A good team player and strong work ethic

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

• The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.

• To maximise learning, we ask all of our next generation cohort to be in the office on each of their working days

• You may from time to time be required to work additional hours as are necessary
