Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Alternative Fuels Supervisor to join our team in Logansport, IN reporting directly to the Production Manager.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Supervise operation of TSD Facility. Provide field supervision and troubleshooting for production, process, process control, equipment, and quality problems.

  • Operate the Facility within state, provincial, and federal parameters for environmental regulatory standards, understanding how process changes affect plant operations with respect to the permit limits.

  • Define and plan daily tasks and areas of responsibilities according to operational needs.

  • Provide field supervision and troubleshooting for production, process, process control, equipment, and quality problems.

  • Partner with the Maintenance team on a daily basis to coordinate and manage production and maintenance requirements.

  • Read, understand, and utilize various documentation (e.g., SDSs, SOPs, regulatory requirements, task analyses, warning labels, OEM manuals, company policies, etc.) to carry out job responsibilities.

What We Are Looking For

  • Relevant and transferrable experience such as supervisory experience, alternative fuels experience, and/or college education.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly mathematics skills in dealing with calculations, measurements, units of measure, etc.

  • A highly organized individual who is, efficient, and detail-oriented mindset and skillset, with strong leadership qualities.

  • A multi-tasker who can tackle multiple issues at the same time.

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office, SAP, as well as other PC based applications.
