CampSaver Parking Lot Sale Retail Associate (Seasonal) in LOGAN, Utah
CampSaver is looking to hire several retail sales associates to join our team! We will host a series of outdoor sales events throughout the summer, and this seasonal role will aid in the set-up and take-down for each sale. Additionally, this role should enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and assist customers in general retail functions of each sale.
This is a seasonal position. Candidates should be available on the following dates, between 8am and 8pm, with an opportunity for additional hours. Additional shifts throughout the summer may be available.
May 2-4
June 13-15
July 25-27
September 5-7
Oct 17-19
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand all CampSaver products and be able to effectively communicate that knowledge with customers.
- Be able to recommend gear and apparel.
- Be a contributing team member who can provide input for improvement.
- Deal with issues that arise with customers.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Outdoor gear knowledge/experience required. Background in outdoor recreation, i.e. climbing, backpacking, hiking, camping, trail running, and skiing preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with customers.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Works well under pressure.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. repeatedly.
You must be a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
