Job title:

Global transportation management takes care of the transport infrastructure to ensure that all Philips product will reach the customers within the contractual agreed lead times, at the most cost effective service, un-damaged and at the correct destination.

Your role:

The role’s purpose is to manage, drive, support and execute:

• Managing the flow of goods end-to-end in terms of transportation planning & execution;

• Proactive daily monitoring of all shipments;

• In case of missed mile stones, tracking of the shipment and drive the corrective actions to ensure recovery of shipment and a timely delivery;

• Controlling and driving cost optimization initiatives;

• Ensuring track and trace for goods in transit;

• Implementing global logistics processes standardization;

• Proactive communicating with stakeholders;

You're the right fit if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain;

• You have previous relevant experience in the transport world;

• You have an excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and within the service providers;

• You have good working knowledge of MS office applications with solid level for MS EXCEL/Access;

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
