Test Engineer

We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you’ll achieve

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and documenting test plans and test cases for newly developed or current hardware, software and solutions products based on the Business Contract product specifications. You will collaborate with designers and technologists to determine test requirements and develop test tools for test projects.

You will:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered test/software/storage environments

• Design, develop and implement troubleshooting effective methods for systems and equipment

• Report test execution progress and issues to the engineering team, and manage the issues from creation to closure

• Develop, review and implement test strategies for hardware and software products and systems

• Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed

Essential Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree

• Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions and infrastructure and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues

• Good understanding of hardware and software system architecture and interactions and should be able to apply it to resolve issues

• Enthusiastic about learning new tools, languages and operating systems

• Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge of programming skills in BASH, PowerShell, Python, VBA, operating systems: Windows/Linux, firmware: BIOS, device drivers, network, application administration, embedded software/firmware

• Learning attitude, high communication skills, capability to influence others to achieve results, problem solving approach, can-do mindset and experience in explaining complicated technical aspects to a non-technical audience
