The Dale Association Executive Assistant to the CEO in Lockport, New York

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Attends and records minutes for full board meetings, committee meetings of the board, and committee meetings of the agency, and *Dale Properties board.Sends reminder meeting notices, collects and distributes reports, and prepares agendas for meetings.Interfaces with staff, board members, members and clients, volunteers, public, and community in a professional and pleasant manner at all times.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must possess keyboarding skills and be proficient on computer.Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality at all times.Provides administrative support for CEO such as scheduling, creating reports or correspondence, emailing.Sorts, opens, and distributes incoming mail.Must be proficient at typing, filing, faxing, emailing, answering and routing calls, internet navigation, and other general office duties.Must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects at the same time.Maintains records for the CEO.Works collaboratively with all areas of the agency.Assists with Development initiatives for agency, on occasion.Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND TRAINING:Minimum of Associates degree in business related field plus a minimum of two years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or similar position.QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess knowledge of general office practices with proficiency using MS Word (mail merge), Excel, and Power Point. Ability to learn Bloomerang or other software, etc. is required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to perform basic mathematical to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be highly organized. Must possess ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines. Must be familiar with and able to operate basic office machines.Qualified candidates must be available to work early evening hours to support board meetings after normal business hours. Board meetings usually run from 4:30pm - 5:30pm, and can occur several times per month based on committee activity.

Minimum Salary: 20 Maximum Salary: 22 Salary Unit: Hourly
