Job Title: Swiss CNC Machinist

Weekly Pay up to $34/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Set Up Machinist to join our team. The candidate will work in a job shop with a diverse customer base, where job quantities vary, meaning some machines will run the same job for weeks while others get switched over every other day. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints, use measuring equipment, and have a good understanding of M and G-Code programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Utilize measuring equipment to ensure precision.

• Understand and apply M and G-Code programming.

• Adapt to varying job quantities and switch machines as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of Swiss CNC Machining experience.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Ability to use measuring equipment.

• Strong understanding of M and G-Code programming.

• Possession of own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the oil field industry is a plus, as these candidates are accustomed to strict specifications.

Work Environment

This position is based in a small job shop with two shifts available: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11pm. The work environment is focused on precision and adaptability to varying job quantities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockhart, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
