As Manager, Global Material Handling Equipment, you'll spearhead Kalmar's pre-owned equipment strategy, overseeing sales, rentals & refurbishment. You'll optimize the lifecycle of our equipment, drive & execute revenue growth, and champion sustainability while ensuring operational excellence and cost-effective management.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • ​​​​​​​Strategic Heavy Lifting Equipment:Global monitoring and reporting of aggregated Heavy Lifting Equipment sales and profitability targets vs outcome, ROI on global level.

  • Operational Efficiency:Continuously monitor and analyze quality of forecasts, order intake, sales and stock values.

  • Vendor Management:Support FLUs by monitoring and reporting of price structure and margins.

  • Data-Driven Decisions:Support FLUs with dedicated reports and analyzes of their business performance.

  • Business Development:Develop new Heavy Lifting Equipment business activities with the Front Line Units (refurbishment as a service and exchange units) to support our service growth plan.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:University degree in Economics or Engineering (or equivalent but not mandatory if a strong service experience instead).

Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in a Heavy Lifting Equipment Business, Dealer business or Financial Management. Having experience from a frontline / sales company is key.

Skills:Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships with vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams.Understanding the business opportunities for fleet management and refurbishment business.
