Description:

Responsible for creating and improving optimal user experiences (UX) of our digital health websites and applications. Develops and executes content strategies that align with brand goals and resonate with our target audiences. Duties include collaboration with operations, IT, marketing and communications, medical group leaders, developers and others to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces and content strategies that meet the needs of our members. Responsible for the establishment of Trinity Health enterprise-wide UX and content strategies and works with System Office, Regional Health Ministries (RHMs), and National Health Ministries (NHMs) in establishing and measuring performance metrics to achieve goals.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of UX and content strategy tools, procedures, processes, and outcomes. Supports Trinity Health enterprise and RHM/NHM brand initiatives that include websites, applications, digital marketing campaigns and content development. Partners with RHM/NHM marketing and communications leaders to ensure UX and content marketing support local brand campaigns and enterprise initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health in leadership behaviors, practices, and decisions.

  2. Collaborates with leadership to define UX and content strategy goals that align with overall business objectives and digital transformation efforts. Leads enterprise-wide meetings discussing UX and content strategy performance.

  3. Develops and implements comprehensive content strategy direction and sets user experience for the Trinity Health enterprise and RHMs. Conducts research on industry trends, audience needs, and competitive landscape to inform UX and content creation; conducts user research to understand member or user needs, behaviors, and pain points; and advocates for accessibility in design and content, ensuring that all digital experiences are inclusive and compliant with relevant accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

  4. Conducts RFPs, on-boards new vendor partners, sets up new tools, and provides training support to RHM marketing and communications teams.

  5. Creates wireframes and/or prototypes to communicate design concepts.

  6. Lead usability (user research) testing sessions and analyze results to make actionable recommendations for improving user experience.

  7. Analyzes user data, research, and metrics to inform design improvements. Works with existing and supports the development of member personas and journey maps to inform design decisions.

  8. Creates, edits, and oversees high-quality content creation across various platforms. Ensures all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone.

  9. Analyzes content performance metrics and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.

  10. Stays abreast of trends and best practices to maximize website efficiency and effectiveness.

  11. Documents key requirements, decisions, best practices and creates playbooks to onboard and train colleagues across the enterprise. Supports and provides guidance to other digital health colleagues on an as-needed basis.

  12. Leads select vendor relationships including vendor selection, management of day-to-day activities, and evaluations.

  13. Assists with budgets and resource allocation (e.g., financial, people, technology).

  14. Implements a feedback loop for continuous improvement based on user insights and behavioral data.

  15. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Interaction Design, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications, Computer Science or related field, with at least five (5) years work experience in digital marketing, brand, or communications development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Human Interaction Design degree a plus.

  2. At least three (3) years progressively more responsible User Experience and Content Strategist experience.

  3. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).

  4. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy environment and manage multiple projects.

  6. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus but not required.

  7. Organized, reliable, and independent with strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  8. Strong writing, presentation, editing and project management skills.

  9. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence, manage change, and provide leadership and counsel to other Marketing leaders throughout the Ministry.

  10. An attitude focused on being resourceful, being proactive and getting results.

  11. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  12. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Trinity Health.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Operates in an office, hybrid, or remote area. The Trinity Health work area is well-lit, temperature controlled and free from hazards.

  2. Incumbent communicates frequently, in person, over the telephone, and on video calls, with people in different locations. Manual dexterity is needed to operate a keyboard. Hearing is needed for telephone and in person communications.

  3. Work environment requires the ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects at the same time and adapt to interruptions.

  4. Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities and be able to prioritize and balance the requirements of working with the RHMs.

  5. Must be able to work under stress caused by multiple projects, sometimes with conflicting deadlines.

  6. Travel as required (likely less than 10%).
