Dunkin' Transportation Manager in Livonia, Michigan
Transportation Managers!
The Transportation Manager is responsible for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of the drivers and delivery of product. This includes oversight for routing, track/tracing, dispatching and ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.
Essential Functions
Manage the performance of hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Plant Manager and customers to determine their needs and meet those demands.
Handle phone calls from Drivers with delivery needs
Handle phone calls from Customers regarding delivery issues.
Physically loading and unloading trucks.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts
Be able to drive and operate 26ft box trucks & Manage a fleet.

Qualifications Required
-Able to train employees in driving and safety protocols
-Good organizational skills
-Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
- A minimum of five years of related experience in Transportation, Food preferred
-Must have DOT medical card & at least a chauffer's license
