Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for a skilled Market Intelligence Analyst to join our growing and fast paced Strategy organization.

In this role you will build relationships across the organization with internal stakeholders and with external industry analysts. The position will have responsibility for analysis of existing and potential markets, supporting primary research functions, market and competitive projects of small to medium scope, budget tracking and purchasing functions and the development and distribution of emails and newsletters. Will regularly prepare and/or give presentations which may include project updates and results to management.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs or assists in a variety of research projects including conducting external research, deriving and quantifying market opportunities and competitive benchmarking

  • Develop data-based analysis, reports, and presentations

  • Manage purchasing relationships with research firms, track and process renewals and purchase orders for program spend

  • Assist with or conduct primary research as required

  • Assist broader organization with data requests and secondary research needs

  • Gather, analyze and report on internal/external quantitative and financial data

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to break down problems, analyze details, evaluate multiple stakeholder inputs, develop conclusions, and communicate the “big picture”

  • Data driven approach to draw out conclusions and insights

  • Meticulous attention to detail with problem-solving aptitude

  • Clarity and effectiveness in verbal and written communication

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines

  • Interest in and capability to learn, understand, discuss and communicate on topics related to engineering and high-tech markets

Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Science, Engineering, or other Scientific disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years related experience

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional/limited travel may be required

The salary range for this position is $81,100 to $146,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
