Schoolcraft College Disability Support Services (DSS) Lab Assistant in Livonia, Michigan
We have an immediate opening for a Disability Support Services (DSS) Lab Assistant for the 2024 Fall semester. This is an important position dedicated to providing critical assistance to students with disabilities during the practical, laboratory and/or hands-on courses in their academic program. This role is primarily focused on facilitating the physical aspects of Biology laboratory experiments and tasks that the DSS student is not able to fully perform independently. The DSS Lab Assistant works closely with the student to ensure that all lab activities are executed in a safe, effective, and supportive manner, adhering to both academic and safety protocols.
Hours: The hours for this on-call position (Fall 2024) will be Thursdays, 12:00-3:00pm, from 8/26/24-12/15/24 (with some additional meetings and training required).
