At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we're at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. Using the electromagnetic spectrum—signals such as radio, infrared, or radar— to sense, protect, and communicate. At the same time, EW can disrupt, deny and degrade the adversaries' ability to use these signals.

THE WORK
We are in search of an experienced Electronic Attack (EA) System engineering professional to join our Electronic Warfare (EW) team.
As a member of the team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems. In general, the tasks involved in this position are highly technical and focused on electronic warfare; RF Emitters and antennas, their use and limitations; and the computing systems that are used in this domain.
Tasks may include:
• Development of EA Techniques / EW Solutions to counter current and emerging threats.
• Review, develop and document operational concepts and requirements.
• Develop and analyze EA algorithms.
• Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of functional, architectural and detailed designs.
• Continuously analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
• Electronic Attack (EA) subsystem/system development and integration experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Attack technique development
• Electronic Attack simulation tool familiarization
• Proficient in MATLAB, C++ or Python
• Secret Security Clearance required - Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in a related technical field (EE, math, physics, etc.)
• Understanding of threats and tactics
• Familiarity with Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR)
• Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Experience
• Experience with software or firmware development
• Experience with machine learning or cognitive algorithm development
• Requirements management tool experience
• Familiarity with Linux Operating System and Microsoft Office tools
• Experience operating complex RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with modern DevOps tools and principles

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
