Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a team-oriented and flexible individual to join production operations. This full-time hourly role is responsible for multiple duties in a fast-paced environment related to the successful manufacturing of high-quality dairy feed pre-mix. This role reports to the Plant Manager and receives input from maintenance, quality, and other management team members.
Responsibilities
Directs and coordinates production activities to obtain optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the operation (profit maximization)
Assists Production Supervisors and Plant Manager to meet the obligations to the Company's customers and maintain the corporate mission
Plan, implement, and evaluate a manufacturing plan to meet corporate goals
Assist in executing manufacturing program in accordance with AAFCO, FDA, SFSF, FCI, FSMA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies
Operate WEM 4000 production software system
Assist daily manufacturing production scheduling
Collect samples from each run, label, photograph, and place into storage
Assist in monitoring production inventories
Assist in production labor scheduling
Assist in scheduling maintenance work orders
Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
Assist in reporting metrics to management
Hard Skills
Proficient with ERP Software and Inventory Database, and Microsoft Office
Experience with WEM feed mill PLC control systems preferred (or Beta Raven)
Excellent attention to detail and proactive/results-orientation; demonstrate good attendance, accuracy, and responsibility
Good communication skills; coaching team at various levels depending on need; modeling acceptance of company policies and job expectations
Utilize a growth mindset to meet job expectations, such as learning new standard operating and quality control procedures
Experience using basic math skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).SHIFT:
1st: 7am-5pm M-F
3rd: 9pm-7am M-F
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Liverpool, New York.
