Lockheed Martin GBAS Product Line Manager (HYBRID TELEWORK) in Liverpool, New York

Description: WHAT WE'RE DOING

The Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) market segment supports the development, production, delivery, and aftermarket support of all FPS-117, TPS-77, and MRR radar systems. The Product Line Manager is a Program Manager that additionally leads the team responsible for product execution, prioritization of key resources/activities, sustainment of product producibility, product quality and rapid defect resolutions, identification of compatible product growth paths, and support to capture teams.

THE WORK

The Product Manager for the Product Line is responsible for the execution of the Program-specific work assigned to the PET, as well as internally funded initiatives for Product enhancement. The Product Manager’s roles are similar to those of the Program Manager, with key PL responsibilities including:

• Meet All Orders, Sales, Profit and Cash Commitments at the Product Line level

• Provide Leadership Vision and Product Management Expertise

• Provide Direction to the Product Line Team (Existing Policies, Procedures, or Contract)

• Identification of Supporting PLAP, IR&D, B&P and P&E Requirements

• Management of Product Line Risks in Accordance with CPS-070

• Timely, Accurate and Complete Reporting of Product Line Status, Risks and Problems to Program Offices and Line-of-Business Leadership

• Manages Product Line Accounting Plan

• Represents the future of the Product in meetings with Line-of-Business Management

• Owns the Product Line Management Plan

The Product Line Manager will also assume the role of Program Manager on contracts within the GBAS market segment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Program and Product Leadership of cross-functional team with scope >$20M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance

• Demonstrated performance working with supply chain production teams

• Experience with Proposals (proposal prep, INAR, EPP, and/or negotiations)

• Strong problem solving skills, with experience in root cause/corrective action

• Experience in risk identification and management

• Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management

• EVMS and CAM experience

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience in both commercial and DoD Contracting and/or Negotiating

• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

• Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
