Associate Manufacturing Technician - Liverpool, NY

Pay Rate

$20-25/hour

Job Description

In this role, you will coordinate a team of highly skilled technicians in producing exceptionally reliable and high-quality products. The Manufacturing Technician will closely manage the assembly operations ensuring flawless execution and adherence to protocols. Your contributions will be critical in supporting our customers' ambitions to advance global health.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and guide team members in assembling components using various hand tools.

  • Interpret and strictly follow digital assembly work instructions and schematics.

  • Inspect connections for accuracy and ensure components fit flawlessly.

  • Assemble mechanical, optical, and electronic components in a controlled environment.

  • Successfully implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field.

  • Ability to do paperwork and complete multi-step processes.

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Adherence to safety protocols, including pallet jack, loading/unloading trucks, and forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers), loading docks, and pallet jacks.

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures, including room temperature. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Physical demands include the ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, sit, kneel, stand, crouch, and crawl.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, New York.
