HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
You will work in our Quality Control Department performing mechanical inspection of precision-machined components and assemblies. Our Quality Control team ensures that our production teams receive the highest quality components available to build our products to the highest standards. Our commitment to quality ensures that our customers receive the highest quality products in a timely manner; basic computer skills, effective communication skills, and knowledge of GD&T is a must!
Reports to the Quality Control Supervisor and/or Quality Control Lead
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Works under minimal supervision
Performs CMM, mechanical, and visual inspections per GD&T
Performs inspection of sub-assemblies and finished assemblies per customer requirements
Reviews supplier inspection data and collects data as required
Fills out applicable QC documents per QC procedures
Interfaces with production personnel daily
Interfaces with design and manufacturing engineers along with planners to resolve day to day issues
Perform First Article, Work in Process, Final, Visual and FAI inspections
Calibrates and maintains inspection equipment as required
Performs inspection at supplier sites as required
Ability to Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to program and run already established CMM programs
Experience on Mitutoyo Crysta Apex CMM is a plus

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
A.S. in Manufacturing , Engineering discipline, or an equivalent of 3-5 years of relevant technical experience
Minimum 3-year CMM Programming Experience Required
Physical & Environmental requirements:
- A typical day requires continuous sitting and/or standing in an office setting with occasional breaks. Standing and walking around 100k sq. ft. facility extensively throughout the day.
Able to comfortably lift 35 pounds without injury.
Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 100 pounds in all directions.
Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Occasionally subjected to low temperatures and high temperatures
Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
