We are actively searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at our Pleasanton, California, location. This role presents a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be tasked with managing open accounts, ensuring accurate documentation, and developing effective strategies to minimize bad debt.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts receivable, identifying and prioritizing overdue invoices for efficient collection.

• Follow up on outstanding payments through phone, email, and written correspondence with clients.

• Address and resolve any invoice discrepancies or disputes.

• Accurately document all collection activities and maintain precise records of client communications in the system.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and facilitate timely payment.

• Evaluate aging reports and provide insights on collection trends and potential risks to management.

• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize bad debt.

• Regularly prepare reports on collections performance and the status of outstanding invoices.

Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or similar role.

• Candidate must possess strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Proficiency in handling Cash Activity is essential for this role.

• Experience in Collections, specifically in managing and improving Collection Processes, is required.

• Candidate should be adept at creating and analyzing Aging Reports.

• Prior experience in B2B collections is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Collections - Commercial is necessary for this position.

• Applicant must demonstrate strong Collections management skills.

• Experience in Debt Collection is a significant advantage for this role.
