Job Description:
- Grill, cook, fry, and otherwise prepare foods for customers using various kitchen cooking appliances
- Perform simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing meats, cheeses, vegetables
- Prepare customer food orders to their specifications
- Manage orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time
- Plate prepared food and ensure appetizing presentation when served
- Assist to manage food inventory and proper food storage
- Work according to food and workplace safety guidelines at all times
- Clean kitchen cooking and storage areas in accordance with food safety code
- Must be dependable, well groomed, courteous, and work well in a team setting (especially during peak restaurant service times)**
- 1+ year similar experience strongly desired
