The role:

Joining the Live Nation APAC Reporting team as the Finance Analyst you will immediately be integrated within the divisional reporting function.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing month end reports, monthly variance forecast and annual budget analysis and reconciliation, and ticket sales reporting. You’ll be working closely with regional and local finance heads on a range of issues from accounting to financial systems support, and other ad-hoc analysis projects as required. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required to enable effective communication with employees around the world. The successful candidate should have excellent time management skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.

This is a fixed-term 12 month position with opportunity for extension or movement into a permanent role.

Key responsibilities:

Month end

  • Data handling and reviewing key data metrics such as total show attendance, events, headcount and show profitability and loading data metrics to BPC system. It includes commentary of variances arising from current forecast and annual Budget.

  • Prepare divisional sponsorship and intercompany elimination entries

  • Review market results to understand variances between actuals and forecast, working with local finance heads as required

  • Prepare AOI summary by market to provide senior management with an overview of major variances to forecast in the month

  • Detailed review of market balance sheets for correct accounting treatments.

  • Tie back of market balance sheets to balance sheet reconciliations and review of those reconciliations to ensure controls are followed

Monthly forecast and annual budget

  • Review monthly market forecast submissions to understand forecast vs. prior forecast variances.

  • Work with local finance heads to ensure monthly forecast submissions loaded to BPC system accurately and on a timely basis

  • Reconciliation of BPC data back to market forecast submissions

  • Prepare key US forecast deliverables and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met

Other

  • Preparation of weekly ticket sales reports and bi-weekly festival sales reports

  • Responsible for the management of the talent ID database, ensuring this database is up to date where support and planning team is aware of any artist or band to include.

  • Provide assistance to local finance heads on a range of issues from accounting advice to financial systems support

  • Liaise with APAC finance teams to ensure information is presented in an effective manner and deadlines are met

  • Other ad hoc analysis projects as required

About you/requirements

  • CA or CPA qualified

  • Experience in accounting and reporting (ideally in large corporate / multinational)

  • Excellent excel and data management skills

  • BPC/ Oracle exposure preferred but not essential

  • US GAAP exposure desirable but not essential
