Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Stf - Clearance Required in Littleton, Colorado

As part of the Spectrum Convergence team, the engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) Program.

THE WORK

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for production professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks. As part of the TSS Team, you will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented. The candidate will have the role of a Radiant Mercury Technical Engineer, focused on providing technical direction and execution guidance for a group of Delivery Orders/Task Orders. Expected tasks will include

performing site surveys at customer locations, reviewing/verifying customer requirements & documentation are clear and executable, working with end customers to clarify requirements & potential Cross-Domain Solution designs to satisfy their needs.

The primary work location is at the Deer Creek Facility (DCF) in Littleton Colorado. Remote work is a possibility if there is a commitment and understanding that there is an expectation to travel routinely to customer locations as well as home-base (DCF). The working groups will be conducted at the DCF no less than once a month with customers and/or their staff participating, in this scheduled event. This position will also be required to travel to various customer locations, both CONUS and OCONUS.

RESPONSIBLITIES

The selected candidate will be supporting the TSS Program in all phases of product configuration and deployment process. The selected candidate will be responsible working with Project Engineers to provide accurate cost estimates for requested technical scope, coordinating/leading team members to perform customer configuration changes, tracking performance & schedule of technical tasks for assigned contracts, and improving program processes to ensure effective project execution. The Technical Lead must be able to effectively communicate and work with multiple end customers. The Technical Lead may delegate within their team as appropriate, yet still takes full responsibility for the technical execution of the Delivery Orders/Task Orders assigned.

The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers,

systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow installation engineers. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance

- Travel will be required to fulfill the duties of this role, with assumed 25% minimum expected travel

- Proficient with Linux/Unix OS (RHEL preferred)

- Experience with OS Scripting and/or object-oriented programming

- Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of starting. Must be willing to obtain advanced certifications if needed

- Systems Engineering Background

- Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and communications experience.

- Secret level clearance; Top Secret preferred

- Experience with system networking and troubleshooting

- Currently valid Security+, CASP, CISSP or similar certification

- Experience authoring and executing test/installation plans

- Experience with hardware configuration (NICs, Secure boot, RAID, etc.)

- Familiar with Cross Domain Solutions architectures (especially Radiant Mercury)

- Familiar with Raise The Bar (RTB) Cross Domain Solution requirements

- Experience with Mission Critical systems

- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload based on team objectives

- Ability to work in a team environment and have strong coordination, organization, and communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
