In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Provides technical leadership of SE team working an Agile/Scrum business rhythm, managing the team backlog, tracking team capacity, making resource assignments and ensuring milestone and task commitments are met.

• Reports status to and accountable to the Program Engineer in support of cost account management and schedule status and resource management

• Provides SE team representation at program-wide technical leadership and customer meetings

• Provides SE team coordination with the program’s Software and Integration teams

• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

• Support development of Specifications and Interface Control Documents.

• Participate in subsystem and/or system testing activities with other organizations.

• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance at the CI level.

• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems using python/automated test suite.

This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates require 9+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous demonstration of ability to lead a team of technically strong SEs

• Active TS/SCI clearance required prior to start.

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes

• Self-motivated learner

Desired Skills:

• Experience in requirements definition, CONOPS creation, and verification using DOORS

• Agile methodology

• SW lifecycle experience (from development through integration/testing to deployment)

• Python

• Understanding of Cloud infrastructure, software /hardware infrastructure, middleware, and SOA

• Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and internal teams

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members

• Strong problem solving skills, communication skills, and a team player.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
