We are in search of a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for a blend of tax and accounting tasks. Your primary function will be to handle individual tax returns, contribute to S-Corps, and handle bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare individual tax returns

• Assist with the financial needs of S-Corps

• Perform bookkeeping duties for financial records

• Work collaboratively with other accounting staff to ensure accuracy of financial documents

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management

• Address and resolve any accounting discrepancies

• Regularly review financial systems for efficiency and make necessary adjustments and improvements

• Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings

• Monitor and maintain the company's financial status by tracking revenues and expenses.

Requirements • Candidate must hold a minimum of one year of experience in the role of a Staff Accountant or similar position.

• Proficiency in preparing Individual Tax Returns is essential.

• Experience in dealing with S-Corps is a requirement.

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping is needed.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is considered an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
