This position will be a member of the Ground Element Integration team that integrates, tests, and deploys software and hardware products as an integral component of a larger, complex system. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of integration objectives, integrating products that are part of a large ground system, troubleshooting errors and working closely with System, Software and Test engineers as part of an agile-like team. You will support and coordinate with the test team for regression testing and perform CR (change request) checkout. This position will also help lead the future architecture roadmap for integrating, testing, and deploying future capabilities. The successful candidate will interact, plan and coordinate with multiple discipline engineering/maintenance teams to solve technical issues. You will utilize your strong organizational and communication skills to be responsible for ensuring proper standards and processes are followed. The ability to work independently with just general guidance is a must. The desire to work on a problem until it is solved is a necessity.

This is an EARLY CAREER (level 2) ROLE where candidates require 2+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Final Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start and must have the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiar with the software development lifecycle

• Familiar with DevOps Paradigm

• Experience with LINUX/UNIX environments

• Familiar with integrating and/or testing hardware/software products or equivalent technical experience

• Effective problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with the Space domain (satellite ground systems and orbital platforms)

• Experience with Agile Development environments

• Experience with Agile Automated Test Development tools, software, and processes (e.g.CI/CD pipelines, Docker container deployments, Kubernetes, JIRA, Confluence, Ansible, ADA)

• Self-driven - ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Security + Certification or the ability to obtain

• Positive, flexible, solution-focused mindset

• Strong attention to detail

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $70,500 - $135,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
