AKM Consultants Inc P.E. Project Engineer - Structural/Forensic Investigation in Littleton, Colorado
Position Description: AKM Consultants, Inc. seeks experienced and licensed Professional Engineer for a full-time Project Engineer role in the area of structural evaluation and forensic investigation.
AKM will train for this position, however Applicants must have the following
*Required Occupational Competencies: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering - Active Colorado Professional Engineer License
*Required Foundation Competencies: - Good verbal and written communication (English in a professional manner) - Good reading and writing comprehension - Critical thinking and coordination - Ability to conduct field observations and investigation
Some duties of an AKM Project Engineer will include: - Conduct field observations and investigation - Perform document review and prepare summaries based on review of project related information in comparison to construction documents, as-built conditions, and applicable building codes - Research applicable building codes and manufacturer product/material specifications - Formulate and prepare written opinion reports based on investigation performed
*Other Position Requirements: - Position is NOT remote. Must have a reliable vehicle for daily commute to project sites and/or office. - Position is Full-Time. Typical schedule is M-F, 8am - 5pm
