If you are seeking to further your career in drug development, then this opportunity is for you! Our client is a global healthcare company providing diagnostic and drug development capabilities to make a difference through clinical, non-clinical, and commercial settings! We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join their growing team!

Pay : $25-$30/hr.

Shift : 2nd Shift, M-F, 3:00pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assess specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria

  • Perform routine and advanced technical procedures following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab instruments to ensure accurate functionality

  • Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving as needed

  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and controls

  • Report test results accurately and promptly to support quality patient care

  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control checks

  • Manage and replenish supplies for the testing bench

  • Assist with specimen processing as necessary

  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, or equivalent per local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements

  • Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical lab testing experience

  • Certification (ASCP or AMT) is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

  • Computer proficiency, strong attention to detail, and effective communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision test

  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed
