ACDHS uses an integrated Two-Generation (2Gen) approach to address all of the basic human services needs of the entire family unit. The 2Gen approach begins with a mindset focused on family-centered program design, continues with the alignment of services and resources within the department as well as across multiple organizations, resulting in coordinated services to children and adults together (family) in order to create long term stability and sustainability.
The 2Gen approach builds well-being for families by focusing equally and intentionally on high-quality services in five areas of focus: early childhood education, adult education and employment pathways, economic security, health and well-being and social capital. The HSConnects (HSC) Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict guidelines, within scope and budget. This requires acquiring resources and independently coordinating the efforts of team members across Human Services divisions in order to deliver and successfully complete projects according to plan. This position must also be responsible for some business analysis and process improvement through automating staff duties by gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system or business requirements to develop and document recommended solution options that can be implemented into HSConnects. Duties DUTIES: *Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support the overall business goal(s) by setting and continually managing project expectations in collaboration with management, stakeholders, and the finance team. *Develop and maintain full scale project plans and associated communication documents. *Facilitate project management by directing and managing project development from beginning to end including the identification of project risks and barriers by developing strategies and approaches to mitigate and/or overcome. *Facilitates project management and project status review meetings. *Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project timelines and goals. *Position is distinguished from other Human Services Project Management/Coordinator positions by solely focusing on HSConnects.
REQUIREMENTS: Skills, Abilities and Competencies: *Demonstrated expertise in developing requirements, specifications, and business process review. *Ability to think and plan strategically, and experience in building and managing business technology roadmaps. *Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and effectively prioritize and execute tasks and projects in a high-pressure environment. *Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives; listening, interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills. *Ability to manage the process of innovative change. *Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. *Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, front line workers, other divisions or departments, contractors, etc.
Behavioral Competencies (these are required for all positions at ACG): Accountability Accessibility Inclusivity Integrity Requirements Education and Experience: *BS or BA degree in business administration, public administration, organizational development, o business management. *8+ years of project management experience. *Any equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfy the requirements of the job will be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience: *Human Services program knowledge *Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification *Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Supplemental Information Pre-Employment Additional Requirements: *Must successfully pass pre-employment testing which includes an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check.
Post-Employment Requirements: *Will require fingerprinting and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: *Work is generally confined to a standard office environment.
