Description
Systems Administration
Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure.
Administer and manage enterprise systems, including WMS, TMS, ERP, and other logistics-related software.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, implementing proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
Network Management
Manage and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for office and warehouse environments.
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and best practices.
Backup and Recovery
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical company data.
Perform regular testing of recovery processes to ensure readiness in case of system failures.
End-User Support
Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues from the help desk team.
Train users on new systems, upgrades, and IT best practices.
Collaborate with logistics teams to identify IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Generate reports on system performance, security, and usage metrics.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades, replacements, and enhancements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in system administration, preferably in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Experience with logistics systems such as WMS, TMS, and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Solid understanding of networking technologies, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and IP routing.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
