Vontier Global Product Manager in Little Rock, Arkansas
The Global Product Manager, Automatic Tank Gauge, is responsible for overseeing the execution of development projects and managing IoT and software related initiatives. The GPM will be responsible for driving the global portfolio strategy and go-to market initiatives, including building automation and creating a connected device ecosystem for monitoring, compliance and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
P&L responsibility for a globally leading software and hardware product portfolio
Drive new IoT and sensor technologies and focus to expand key business areas
Creating a network of connected devices, including sensors to a single edge device
Build automated systems to provide more business and operational efficiencies
Utilize AI tools to provide actionable insights
Act as the leading contributor with software engineering during the development process
Developing product strategy, roadmap, and actions to drive product line performance.
Obtain a deep understanding of customer processes to identify opportunities that improve their experience and outcomes using sound VOC methodology.
Gather VOC and prioritizing needs for product line, balancing user experience, price, and performance. Focuses on future product requirements, both enhancements as well as breakthroughs.
Build business cases for new products, product enhancements and other strategic investments by having a command of the key drivers and the sensitivity of the model to changes in the key drivers.
Lead new product development including product requirements, commercialization, life-cycle management, line extensions, and breakthroughs.
Work closely with regional marketing and sales organizations to implement effective strategies to drive growth of the business.
Responsible for establishing product pricing and must understand global competitiveness and price elasticity.
Financial ownership and product ownership (product order to cash ownership).
Bachelor’s degree with MS or MBA desired or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years in of progressive product marketing, business or technical management experience required.
Demonstrated experience bringing new products to market that deliver impact to the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver results
JIRA proficiency
Understanding of agile development processes and the role of a product manager
Experience as a product owner (understanding of backlog grooming/management, roadmap building, MVP definition, requirements gathering and management, etc)
Experience integrated in a SWE project team as a vocal contributor during the development process (including pre-development, hands-on development, testing, release, and post-release).
Basic Understanding of cloud architecture, development, and QA standards
Basic understanding of web development
Experiencing building automation and connectivity with smart devices
The base compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $155,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
