GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION\ Assists contributors with donations and move materials as needed.\ Uphold a positive work environment that follows Goodwill\'s Amazing Customer Experience (ACE)\ culture, Values, and Mission in everything you do and every interaction you have with co-workers,\ clients, customers and management.\ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ 1. Accepts donations by providing assistance to contributors and issuing donation receipts. This duty\ is performed daily, about 35% of the time.\ 2. Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times, willing to be flexible and assume new\ job responsibilities as needed. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.\ 3. Treats every customer and contributor as if they were a GUEST in their home. GUEST stands for\ Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest and Thank. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.\ 4. Sort donations by established categories and safely pack for transport. This duty is performed\ daily, about 10% of the time.\ 5. Uses hand truck to move materials around donation center and/or moves materials within the store\ as needed. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.\ 6. Accepts donations of good quality and politely refuses unacceptable items. This duty is perform daily, about 5% of the time.
7. Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of transportation vehicles. This duty is performed as\ needed, about 5% of the time.\ 8. Maintains a clean and safe environment. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.\ 9. Maintain daily and weekly electronics records as required. This duty is performed daily, about 5%\ of the time.\ 10. Assist retail locations by hanging textiles during downtime after donations have been processed.\ This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.\ 11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time.
