Oracle Consulting Staff Technical Manager in Little Rock, Arkansas

Job Description

As part of the CS4I Delivery Excellence team, the CS4I Method & Best Practices Lead will focus on unifying and improving our Industry Delivery Methodology. This role is responsible for promoting a standard delivery approach across CS4I, aligned to the Customer Cloud Journey and eventually to the next generation Oracle Global Methodology (evolution of True Cloud Method). The scope of this role will include a combination of internal activities to drive adoption of the Oracle Cloud Journey and Oracle Global Methodology across the CS4I portfolio organizations, resulting in delivery efficiencies, quality improvement, consistency, and increased margin.

To achieve this, you will collaborate with implementation practitioners across CS4I, educating them on the standard tools, templates, and guidance available from the Cloud Journey and Oracle Global Methodology and supporting the adoption and roll-out to their sales and delivery organizations. You will also liaison with global Customer Success and Apps Consulting teams to provide the industry perspective, while both learning from and influencing these teams. Our goal is to contribute to an Oracle Method that can be successfully adopted across all industry solutions, in support of a successful, One Oracle implementation experience for our customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years in professional services delivery experience; SaaS preferred

  • 10+ years industry experience in one or more of the following industries (Communications, Retail, Energy & Water, Hospitality, Construction & Engineering, Food & Beverage, Health, and Life Sciences); strong preference for experience across multiple of these industries

  • Experienced in stakeholder management, developing and maintaining executive level relationships

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20%

  • Proven experience creating, developing and implementing project delivery methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed organizations and lead virtual, global teams

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence change

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus

Responsibilities

We are seeking an individual experienced in project and program delivery, able to challenge conventional ways of working and able to build consensus across CS4I and global stakeholders. This position presents a significant opportunity for professional growth and visibility across the CS4I leadership team, directly engaged in shaping the future of service delivery at Oracle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the delivery and sales practitioners across the industry solution teams to drive alignment and commitment for rollout and adoption of a consistent, global methodology

  • Partner with global Customer Success and Apps Consulting thought leaders to both influence and leverage leading delivery practices and innovation for the benefit of our industry customers

  • Design and deliver engaging communications to effectively convey the benefits, impacts, and expectations associated with transforming the delivery approach across CS4I

  • Contribute to a living CS4I method transformation roadmap with key milestone events and dates, incorporating global method and tool releases, considering product prioritization and unique rollout and adoption plans per industry solution

  • Collaborate with the CS4I Delivery Excellence Leadership, as well as the Enablement and Communications teams to develop broad adoption strategies and enablement content, aligning multiple initiatives where appropriate, for streamlined roll-out

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the CS4I delivery method transformation strategy and communications, adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes

  • Support a governance cadence with CS4I method transformation champions per industry via recurring monthly program calls and more frequent working sessions to set expectation, identify risks and issues and track transformation progress

  • Maintain a status dashboard, aligned to the CS4I method transformation roadmap, to communicate progress to Industry stakeholders

  • Stay abreast of leading practices, Oracle Industry products, and global delivery methods, processes and tools

  • Assess global methodology and tool release impact on the CS4I Method transformation roadmap, communicate to transformation champions, and adjust roadmap and rollout & adoption plans accordingly

  • Promote leading standards, creation of industry specific content, and harvesting of delivery collateral to continually improve the delivery capabilities across CS4I

  • Identify CS4I-specific activities, templates and techniques

  • Promote globally applicable activities identified for CS4I delivery to influence the future Oracle Global Methodology

  • Develop CS4I specific collateral and assets, as appropriate, to fill gaps or address common patterns across industry solutions that are not included in the global method

  • Provide advisory services to CS4I project teams to promote use of standard method guidance and assets, leverage leading practices and techniques, and facilitate lessons learned sessions for continual improvement and harvesting of deliverable examples

  • Manage progress, outcomes and business value and communicate the ongoing value of the CS4I method transformation to executive leadership

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,700 to $189,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
