Pay: $23.00/hr 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday Requirements: To excel in this position, a minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, mental health, or a related field is required. Weekly pay by direct deposit or payment card Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short-term disability 401k options Referral bonus potential Job Duties: As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be crucial in reviewing all insurance denials on EOBs (explanation of benefits), ERAs (electronic remittance advice), and rejections, taking necessary action to resolve each issue following established procedures. This includes calling insurance payers, contacting clients, appealing to insurers, researching online, and collaborating with other employees. You will also review and address outstanding claims in the EHR system, assist clients with billing-related inquiries, and ensure the accuracy of insurance payer plans within the EHR (electronic health records), providing education and retraining when necessary.
