Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Lithonia, GA

Pay Range: $35.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and systems to ensure reliability of equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, and work orders

• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts

• Adhere to all plant safety policies and participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs

What's Needed?

• 1+ years experience and/or equivalent maintenance mechanic training in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently

• Demonstrates ability to operate machines, hand-tools, and electrical equipment

• Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders
