Job Title: Immediate Logistics Specialist

Job Description

As a Logistics Specialist, you will create and reconcile Freight Orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy in rates, routes, and calculations. You will work on contracts, identifying discrepancies and reconciling actual shipments and rail rates. Additionally, you will post Freight Settlement Documents and gain experience in rail freight.

Responsibilities

• Create Freight Orders in SAP.

• Reconcile Freight Orders in SAP with Shipments/Nominations for North America.

• Confirm rates and routes are pulling correctly and ensure calculation tables are accurate.

• Reconcile actual shipments and rail rates.

• Post Freight Settlement Documents.

• Identify discrepancies in contracts and agreements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP ERP.

• Experience with freight bills and rail freight agreements.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4.

• Experience in Transportation Management Tools.

• Strong logistics, shipping, and receiving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of rail freight tariffs and contracts.

• Experience with rail transportation is highly preferred.

• Computer capability with SAP or similar systems.

Work Environment

The position is based in FishHawk with a hybrid work schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, Wednesdays and Fridays from home. Initial training will take place onsite, with more time in the office until you are up to speed. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break and some flexibility in hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.59 - $27.59/hr.
