KONE, Inc Head of Talent & Culture in Lisle, Illinois
We have an exciting opening in our team as the current position holder is moving into a new role within Talent & Culture organization. We are now looking for a Head of Talent & Culture, Americas to join our team.
Purpose and scope of the role:
Responsible for strategic leadership and operational service delivery for Talent & Culture across Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico) to ensure consistent flow and engagement of talent meet KONE’s current and future business needs.
The scope of Talent & Culture covers six core areas: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Leadership, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Culture.
Positioning of the role:
Business partner :Act as trusted advisor for leaders and leadership teams on all the core areas of Talent & Culture. Understand business needs and ensure these are reflected in strategic development and operational service delivery.
Strategic development :Responsible for co-developing the global Talent & Culture strategyand priorities. Ensure deployment end-to-end within own responsibility area.
O perational service delivery : Responsible for creating operating plan for Talent & Culture that aligns with global strategy and local business requirements. Responsible for ongoing service delivery for services in scope, e.g., Talent Acquisition.
Continuous improvement : Actively identifying opportunities to improve Talent & Culture’s service deliveryso that services are timely, robust, efficient, and continuously evolving to meet the needs of our dynamic workforce.
Collaboration : Close collaboration with key stakeholders at global and local level to identify opportunities for improvements and alignment ofdevelopment roadmaps.
This role is part of two leadership teams. These are: global Talent & Culture Leadership and People & Communications Americas Leadership Team.
This role reports directly to Senior Vice President, Talent & Culture and dotted-line to Senior Vice President, People & Communications, Americas.
Scope of the role:
Talent Acquisition : End-to-end responsibility to lead strategic planning and the delivery of talent acquisition services. Oversees TA team in US, Canada, and Mexico.
Talent Management : Responsible for advisory and enablement of talent management processes covering talent identification and developmental assessments, succession planning, talent pools and rotations, talent development.
Employee Engagement : Responsible for advisory and enablement of employee engagement processes covering annual and ad hoc employee surveys.
Leadership development : Responsible for advisory and enablement of leadership development approach.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion : Responsible for advisory and enablement comprehensive plans and actions that support creating inclusive working culture, meet legal requirements and market expectations.
Culture development: Responsible for advisory and enablement of culture development approach.
Key requirements :
10+ years of diverse work experience with core areas of Talent & Culture, covering leadership and transformational experience.
Proven track record of creating and executing successful talent strategies to attract and engage both field workforce and office staff roles.
Broad understanding of using different technologies to enable best candidate and employee experience. Experience with using technologies such as Workday and Beameryis seen as an advantage.
Proven trackrecord of leading teams and projects in international context and managing successfully.

Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with different departments and levels within the organization.
The KONE Americas headquarters is located in Lisle, IL, and KONE supports hybrid working.
