Job Overview and Responsibilities
Assist the I&D Process Expert in the daily and monthly tasks regarding trainingsand process improvement.
ERP Rebuild program is a critical Syensqo initiative that will change the way we all work.
It aims to deliver to Syensqo a set of simple, standard, and integrated business processes and data, enabled by the latest technologies and a robust organizational change management and training.
The program will use the latest available technology, from automation to machine learning, with the goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business and make Syensqo “future ready”.
It will also provide real time reporting to enable quick and informed decision making, for which data quality and robust and seamless integration are vital.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and assist any projects related to Assets Accounting and IFRS 16.
Provide assistance to the Assets key users, Site and GBU controllers and Country Accounting managers, when required.
Contributes to the A2D team activities and deliverables in accordance with Syensqo's code of conduct and program principles: standardization, simplification, process discipline, manage scope, effective change management, program governance and future proof solution.
Responsible for the A2D end the end process, for contributing on behalf of the respective GBU, through timely feedback and input to:
Detail design w/shops
The business process, its variants and their models to Level 5, based on the input and feedback from the relevant GBU
System configuration
Master data standards relevant to this process
Functional specifications for the relevant developments, including integration with other systems
The process controls and segregation of duties
The test scripts and business process scenario variants
All regulatory and legal requirements, including group and executive reporting
Engage the business in the respective GBU to ensure:
the defined business processes are fit for purpose
their solution understanding and readiness for the testing cycles
timely sign off for all relevant deliverables
Engage 3rd parties, i.e. vendors, to ensure their understanding of the ERP Rebuild program and timeline and their readiness to support it.
Work closely with the internal and external Audit to ensure the process controls and segregation of duties are signed off
Contribute towards the deployment roadmap, cutover rehearsals, change management, including training materials definition and execution
Work with the other SMEs and functional consultants to ensure the A2D deliverables are aligned with the rest of deliverables for a seamless end to end process definition and execution.
Requirements
Master / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
Minimum of 4 years experience in fixed assets, project / controlling
Knowledge in accounting principles, costing methodologies, and financial analysis
Strong proficiency in SAP ERP system, particularly modules related to asset accounting and capex (e.g., FI-AA and PS) and IFRS 16
Languages: English (Mandatory), Portuguese and French (optional).
