Overview

Data and Analytics team build internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies.

Role

• Collaborate with global and regional teams to design, develop, and sustain advanced data reporting and visualization solutions, handling large-scale data to fulfill analytics and reporting needs across products, markets, and services.

• Convert business requirements into actionable solution specifications, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.

• Develop standardized ETL processes for building models and reports using SSIS or Alteryx, enhancing efficiency and consistency.

• Leverage tools to manipulate large-scale databases, distill data insights, and present initial insights, conclusions, and assessments through dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, as well as in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Implement rigorous quality control, validation, and data cleansing protocols for both new and existing data sources.

All About You

• 5-8 years’ experience in data management, Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL), data analytics, data reporting, data product development and quantitative analysis

• Financial Institution or a Payments experience a plus

• Experience in data transformation, cleansing, and validation techniques to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Advanced skills in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and functions, along with optimizing query performance for handling large datasets.

• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and relational database management systems like SQL Server, Hadoop, and Oracle.

• Experience with ETL tools like SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or Alteryx.

• Team player, excellent communication skills

• Must be able to interact with management, internal stakeholders and collect requirements

• Must be able to perform in a team, use judgment and operate under ambiguity

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, PowerBI a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience for leading the entire project and manage timely execution of the plan, provide regular update to key stakeholders

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, M.S./M.B.A. preferred
