Job Description

As a member of our Product Security Engineering team, you help us partner with our engineering teams to ensure a market-leading security level in our product.

  • You will identify and prioritize security issues, provide risk transparency and support the engineering teams in improving the security level of the product.

  • You will help automate and scale software security efforts throughout the organization to make software security both as impactful and frictionless as possible.

  • You will maintain and drive  the security strategy and roadmap  in your area of responsibility.

At Dynatrace, you will be working with bleeding-edge technology stacks. Depending on your preference and strengths, there are several different areas you could potentially focus on, such as:

  • AppEngine (https://www.dynatrace.com/platform/appengine/) and AutomationEngine (https://www.dynatrace.com/platform/automationengine/) – making sure that the extensibility of our platform is done in a secure and resilient way, while still considering developer and user experience.

  • Secure Operations – making sure that our Cloud and Kubernetes environments are reliable and secure by default for engineers to run their services on.

  • OneAgent (https://www.dynatrace.com/platform/oneagent/) and Extensions (https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/extend-dynatrace/extensions) – using your knowledge in low-level programming languages and operating systems to secure the Agent-side extensibility of Dynatrace.

You can also help shape and drive the security community at Dynatrace – a vibrant and active group of people at Dynatrace who share their passion about security.

Qualifications

  • Minimum  five years of professional experience  as Security Engineer or similar

  • Strong understanding of Web Application Security, Cloud and Kubernetes Security, or Secure Coding

  • Broad understanding of information security

  • Ability to explain complex security topics and risks to a diverse set of  stakeholders

  • Familiarity with the security aspects of a secure development lifecycle (including threat modeling)

  • Experience with  secure design principles , software development best practices and security tools (e.g. SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, etc.)

  • DevSecOps  mindset

Compensation and rewards

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
