Role Responsibilities:

  • Respond fast to security incidents, be the leader of a security incident investigation and coordinate efforts between various teams

  • Improve and expand detection and alerting of security incidents to ensure efficient & effective response

  • Contribute to security incident response processes & best practices

  • Collaborate with various teams to implement detection use cases and runbooks to properly handle occurring security incidents

  • Work together with teams across the company to build and automate security incident handling workflows

  • Continuously improve and monitor our security incident detection and response workflows

  • Prototype new technologies for security incident detection and response

  • Contribute to a 24x7 coverage for security incident response in a global team with a follow the sun model

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in security operations / engineering

  • Technical studies related to security engineering or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience in analyzing security incidents and threats (especially in hybrid cloud environments)

  • Experience in development and software architecture (cloud, Kubernetes) is a plus

  • Hands-on team player with great communication skills (even in time critical situations) and an "automate everything" mindset

Compensation and rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,800 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
