The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a cleared Systems Administrator who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements and updates to improve reliability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Stand up and configure Windows servers.

  • Apply patches and upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot server issues.

  • Administer customer accounts

  • Deploy monitoring tools.

  • Deploy applications and tools.

  • Assist with escalated customer tickets.

  • Installation and cabling of equipment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • An DoD TS/SCI with Poly.

  • 10 years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

  • Knowledge to troubleshoot network related support cases.

  • Windows or Linux system administration background. (Windows preferred).

  • Knowledge of physical and virtual servers (rack/stack, network, build, deploy, etc.).

  • Knowledge of log aggregation applications.

Desired:

  • Elasticsearch/Splunk.

  • Syslog/NxLog.

  • Nagios or other similar monitoring applications.

  • Scripting experience (Python/Perl).

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
