Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will work closely with the RandD team to develop and run experiments, analyze and present data, and produce customer facing technical documentation. This position requires participation in new method assessment and procedure revisions, cooperation with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service in the production of technical documents. The ideal candidatewill be able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic RandD environment.

Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

This job requires performing variety of routine lab activities, providing QC support for testing on new products which are in various stages of prototyping and development. * The testing requires using variety of lab methodology, instrumentation, and associated computer software(S) such as Microsoft Office, TA Data Acquisition, and Analysis tools. * Testing and reporting qualification for existing products, raw materials, and new products. * Operating and advance troubleshooting for all testing methods and instrumentations, generating and reviewing Quality Records, and Certificate of Analysis for existing products and some new products. * Writing technical documents and procedures to be used by customers as well as manufacturing and service technicians. * Drive adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability. * Work closely with a cross functional engineering team while developing and supporting the testing of product features throughout the entire development cycle.

The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3 years of working experience in designing experiments in analytical chemistry field or other related sciences is strongly desired
  • Knowledge of wet chemistry, and other analytical methods is preferred
  • Proven track record of teamwork and problem solving.
  • Technical writing and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail, quality and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to influence team members and co-works without formal reporting authority.
