Position Summary

For our Nestlé Business Services, we are currently looking for a D2D Services Team Lead. Reporting to Design Services Lead, this professional will be responsible for leading a team of D2D Coordinators to deliver end-to-end project management in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, driving towards excellence in Design to Delivery process by ensuring Global Standards are implemented and business/internal controls are in place. The D2D Team Lead monitors the efficiency of the operations optimizes team capacity and resource allocation, leading recruitment efforts, and driving action plans for service delivery improvements. She/he fosters team development through coaching and performance evaluations. Additionally, the Team Lead deploys D2D Services in new markets by analyzing requirements and creating comprehensive business proposals, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with the Global Design and IT Teams to identify risks and opportunities on the D2D suite of tools.

A day in the life of...

Leadership of Daily Operations:

• Leads the team's day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of end-to-end D2D project management for assigned Businesses, Zones, and Markets.

• Supports design best practices and ensures compliance with the Design Excellence Standard.

Management of Operational Capacity:

• Assesses the team's operational capacity and ensures proper allocation of resources to projects.

• Leads the recruitment process for D2D project resources, ensuring the team is adequately staffed with skilled professionals.

Correction of Deviations and Process Improvement:

• Drives action plans to correct deviations in service delivery and implements process improvements as needed.

• Escalates issues that contravene established ways of working and/or brand guidance.

Management of References and Information:

• Oversees the collection and dissemination of required references and information through the D2D Workflow to achieve "Right First Time" outcomes.

• Manages Label Info Specifications and SAP Labelling Records for assigned businesses and markets.

Team Development:

• Develops and nurtures the team of D2D coordinators, setting goals, defining personal development plans, and providing coaching.

• Evaluates team performance and conducts regular check-ins.

Deployment of D2D Services:

• Manages the deployment of D2D Services in new Markets/Businesses.

• Analyzes existing market requirements and forecasts to estimate the adequate number of resources needed for D2D project coordination.

Building Relationships:

• Builds and maintains good relationships with key Business, Zone, and/or Market stakeholders that receive D2D services, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Conducts periodic operational reviews to ensure consistent end-to-end performance and compliance.

Partnership with Global Teams:

• Acts as a key partner to the Global Design Team and IT Teams.

• Participates in discussions regarding new releases and other D2D solutions, identifying risks, impacts, opportunities, and challenges.

What will make you successful

• Minimum 4+ years agency or in-house experience managing the graphic chain of packaging design and/or artwork projects from development to files to printer

• Ideally experience managing end-to-end of packaging projects through to CGI development, including collation of label information

• 2+ years leading teams involved in packaging design project coordination, with understanding of E2E graphic chain of packaging design projects

• Experience in building teams and developing services – both from a recruitment/planning perspective as well as gaining buy-in from key stakeholders

• Demonstrates strong visual, written, and oral communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Design, Project management or related field

• Understanding of print production, printing, and color management an added bonus

• Experience working with digital workflows, DAM, and document management

• Understanding of digital file formats for packaging design and artwork masterfiles and related assets
