Hiring Machine Set Up Technician

Lincolnton, NC

Position: Set up Technician

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm

Pay: $20 - $27

Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust, and troubleshoot operations of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment

• Perform mechanical, water, hydraulics, and electrical hookups

• Conduct color changes and participate in time studies and kaizen events

• Operate all equipment related to mold and color changes

• Process setup and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and related equipment

• Work with the Process Engineer to establish the process control limits

• Working Knowledge of SQF and GMP procedures

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in plastic and plastic processing

• Knowledge of how an injection molding machine works

• Understand and have good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.

• Good mechanical skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00

• Coverage starts the 1st day of the following month after date of hire.

10 bonuses per year ($1250 sign on bonus after 6 months, attendance bonus each month for no missed time $200, production every 6/mo $600+, quarter bonus production/housekeeping $250-400
