AON Operations Manager II - Policy Maintenance Unit in Lincolnshire, Illinois
Aon is looking for an Operations Manager II to work with our Policy Maintenance Unit in Lincolnshire!
This is a hybrid role out of our office in Lincolnshire, Il.
As an Operations Manager II in our Policy Maintenance Unit you will work directly with the field office, clients, and carriers. You will help to oversee the offshore service provider, Genpact and handle issues, compliance, complex inquiry research and resolution, along with staffing and oversight of on/offshore production units, SOPs, and QC/QA.
Role Responsibilities:
Respond to complex inquiries related to the audit/endorsement/retro adjustment process
Understand casualty insurance concepts
Handle customer concerns and see issues through to resolution
Work with key stakeholders up to executive level field office
Support transformation efforts related to corporate 3x3 initiatives in the audit/endorsement space
Support transfer of work into service center and transition to offshore service provider
Understand headcount, staffing and forecasting for Policy Maintenance team
Oversee offshore service provider process, quality and TAT
Manage audit/endorsement inventory for 200 plus ad-hoc requests per day
Determine ideal sampling and overall strategy for QC and QA processes
Work on process improvements for the end-to-end audit/endorsement process
Work with advanced reporting and metrics, provide analysis and report-out
Research and provide report out on key focus areas (critical care, targeted issue clients)
Attend weekly meetings with offshore service provider leadership
Assist with developing system and process related communications
Evaluate need for system enhancements based on feedback from process owners and operations teams
Address unusual or difficult situations through direct personal action or refer to the appropriate individuals
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
A minimum of 5 years insurance experience with proven experience in leading teams.
High school diploma required, Associates/Bachelors Degree preferred
Advanced understanding of the insurance placement process, client servicing as well as agency management systems
P&C Brokers license is required
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $82,000 - $100,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
