Description We are in the process of hiring a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to be a part of our team. This role is situated in Lincoln, Rhode Island, 02865, United States. The individual will be tasked with various responsibilities in the insurance industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Organizing and making payments for premium tax estimate returns.

• Assisting with year-end filings by providing necessary documents and organizing signatures.

• Preparing yearend filing checklists.

• Taking responsibility for mailing municipal returns.

• Processing and filing Guaranty Fund Payments.

• Using Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP Solutions, and other skills for accounting functions.

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credits.

• Resolving customer inquiries and taking necessary actions.

• Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring they are up-to-date.

• Handling accounts payable and accrual accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is expected.

• Experience with BlackLine software is essential.

• Knowledge of Concur software is a must.

• Understanding of ERP Solutions is necessary.

• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is important.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is required.

• Auditing skills are essential.

• Experience with Balance Sheet Account is crucial.
